I decided to watch this on a whim upon seeing the chadalong watchalong and was it a good decision. Redline was one and a half hours of good fun I am glad to have watched.

The overall story was pretty standard if you’ve watched similarly themed anime which I’m not going to name in case of spoilers for the other titles, but the moment to moment action and happenings are anything but. Redline doesn’t take itself seriously, and is anime logic at its finest. The animation style also really lends itself towards this experience. I really liked the character and vehicle designs plus the greatly exaggerated style.

All in all it was a feel good story with lots of action and happy endings generally for most of the main cast.
